Applying for Membership at the Charlotte Campus Library

The collections and services of the Library are available without charge to:

  • Current students, faculty, staff and alumni/ae of Union Presbyterian Seminary
  • Staff and members of Sharon Presbyterian Church (with proper note or letter of ID from church office)
  • PCUSA, UMC, CBF clergy and educators (with ID or supporting documentation)
  • Students that are part of the Carolinas Theological Library Consortium (CTLC) and Queens University of Charlotte.  (Members of the CTLC–Carolina Graduate School of Divinity, Charlotte Christian College and Theological Seminary, Columbia International University, Erskine College and Theological Seminary, Gardner-Webb University, Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, Hood Theological Seminary, JAARS Center, Laurel University, Piedmont International University, Reformed Theological Seminary, Shepherds Theological Seminary, Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, and Southern Evangelical Seminary.)  For more information on CTLC, click HERE.

Anyone present in the library can access online databases and e-journals.  Only current students, faculty and staff of Union are eligible for remote access to the Library’s online databases and e-journals.  For information about the electronic resources now available remotely for Alumni/ae in particular, please click HERE.

Paid Guest Category:

  • All others wishing to check-out library resources may become a guest of the library for $50.
